أطرق باب الموت فيعلّق حفّار القبور لافتة:
"لم تبق محلات".. ويسجل اسمي على "لائحة الانتظار"!...
أطرق باب الفرح فيفتحه لي وهو يجهش بالبكاء..
أطرق باب المحبرة فأجد جثث الحروف
عائمة فوق سطحها مذبوحة بسكاكين "العناصر غير المنضبطة"
أطرق باب جدتي فتفتحه لي بوجهها العتيق
وأبكي طويلا فوق حناء يديها
بينما ياسمين شعرها يهطل فوقي ..
